Science club started in September this year and has proved to be very popular with Years 4, 5 and 6 children. Every Wednesday between 3.30 – 4.10 we meet to discover the world of science through a range a fun and exciting experiments.

These experiments draw on Biology, Chemistry and Physics and enable the children to see how science is involved in our everyday life. These include

Bubble powered rockets, that shoot off into the air to show how chemical reactions help accelerate the biggest of objects.

Hard liquids, which become harder the more pressure we put on it, this was quite messy!

Helicopters and Aeroplanes, the winner flew as far as the main building.

Density, which showed how everyday liquids have different density and stack on top of one another.

Surface tension and fat molecules, we used washing liquid to create some very pretty patterns.

Our aim is to predict, test and discover answers to life’s mysteries.

We take part in lots of exciting experiments, its great fun.

Science club is very exciting and we learn lots of new things.
