GoThis year has been the ‘Year of the Garden’. We started off with an area suffering from neglect which had fallen into disrepair, but finish with a vibrant outside area which is being used for learning as well as fun at playtime and lunchtime.
Mrs Carpenter, Miss White, Mr Wilson and Mrs Harrington have given up some of their weekends over the course of the year to come in and complete some of the clearing work and the PTA have kindly donated a large sum of money towards the costs of the building work.
Classes have planted their vegetables – which will hopefully be ready for digging up just before we finish school.
Of course, the garden is never a finished project so we all need to remember to look after it and make use of it next year.
Special thanks go to Cheddar Garden Centre who made contributions towards planting and everyone who gave us plants for the border. Thanks also to Mr Garrett who gave up his time to do the planting for us.
Our garden is amazing, it is so bright and colourful.
The garden is very special. The mural looks fantastic. It is the best garden in Weston.
