Christ Church pupils, staff and governors enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in the sun on Thursday 28th April, to celebrate the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Lines of tables were set out and decorated in the front playground and bunting was hung from the school building in typical 'street party' tradition.

After a prayer for the royal couple and plenty of party food and drink, the children went to the back playground to enjoy some party music.

The children will have lots of happy memories from this special national celebration. 

We made our own table decorations for the party. We made flags and the playground looked brilliant.

It was very exciting having a wedding party. I will always remember celebrating with my friends.
