BBC Children in Need

BBC Children in Need is back on next Friday 17th November 2023! We are having a non-school uniform day and invite our children to wear something SPOTTY!

 

Whole School Flu Immunisation

The school nursing team will be here on Monday 27th November to administer the Nasal Flu immunisation to all children from Reception to Year 6.

A form has been sent home as well as a Schoolping with a link to an e-consent form which will need to be completed five days before the event. This is the link: e-consent form Without prior consent your child will not be able to have the Nasal Flu Spray. A reminder will be sent nearer the time.

Rags 2 Riches

Our regular Rags 2 Riches collection is on Tuesday 28th November. Collection is usually first thing in the morning but you can drop off any donations in advance. Please see the poster which details what donations are accepted. Rags 2 Riches pay the school 40p per Kg collected, which helps raise money for class trips, and helps the environment by recycling unwanted clothing, which is fantastic!

 

Christmas News

We are currently planning our Christmas Fair, which takes place on Wednesday 13th December.

Our Christmas event will consist of an afternoon of fun for the children and their families and of course a visit from Santa Claus. We are asking parents if they would like to run a stall this year to sell any arts and crafts. Stalls are £6 each. If you are interested please let the office know!

We are now collecting donations of pre-loved Teddy Bears for our Teddy Bear Tombola, and appreciate any you can spare for us as prizes.

Tickets are now available to buy for Santa's grotto for £3.50, which includes a a meeting with Santa and a gift. Tickets are available in the school office to purchase. Time slots are available from 3pm for pre-schoolers and from 3:10pm for everyone else.

 

We can't wait for our wonderful pupils to show off all all of their hard work in their Christmas performances. This years dates are:

Reception nativity - Thursday 7th December at 9:30am

Year 1 and 2 - Tuesday 12th December at 10am and 2pm.
