Nurture Hub 2025 Information

Dear Parents/Carers,

After a bit of a journey over the last 2 years, we have been given the start date for the building of our single storey Nurture Hub of Monday 27^th January 2025. This will take a period of approximately 4 months so ending early June. The site is at the rear of the school by the rear gate in place of the existing shelter and will be knocked through into the main building. There will be a self-sufficient compound erected inside the rear of the school for the site team which is fenced off to the school.

The Nurture Hub is an amazing on-site facility that will benefit the school and pupils from September 2025. Further information will be regularly posted on our website as the build takes place including all about Nurture UK, how we will be using the Hub, progress photos and much more. The provision of learning will not be affected throughout the time of the build.

During the build, there will be changes for some classes to the everyday routines. Drop off in the morning will remain the same for all classes.

Pick up in the afternoons will be slightly different for only some classes:

EYFS AND Year 1 – This will remain the same but parents will be asked to stand in the bigger part of the playground at the rear, teachers will be bringing the children from the exit doors of the classes to that part of the playground.

Year 2 – Pupils will now be picked up from the KS2 playground at the back near the quiet garden. This is also where Year 3 parents currently pick their children up, there is no change here.

Years 3 4 5 and 6 - Pick up will be the same with no changes.

A map will be posted on the school website next week showing the details and teachers have been made aware of the changes.
